Angela Ojibway, D.D.S.
Dr. Angela Ojibway was born in Marietta, Georgia and graduated from Wheeler High School in 1994. After an orthodontic consultation when she was 13 years old, she became inspired by the difference a smile transformation can make and decided to become a dentist.
She attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for her undergraduate studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Polytechnic & State University in Blacksburg, Virginia and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
While in dental school, Dr. Ojibway became involved in the Virginia Dental Association's Mission of Mercy (M.O.M) Projects, providing dental services and oral surgery to underserved populations throughout Virginia. She continued this service when the Mission of Mercy project came to the aid of New Orleans in 2006 and was recognized by the Georgia Dental Association for her oral surgery efforts during the outreach project. For the first time, the M.O.M. Project is coming to Georgia, and Dr. Ojibway is on the leadership committee for this historical event on August 11-13, 2011 in Woodstock, Georgia. In October 2009 and 2010, Dr. Ojibway was recognized for her participation in the "Love Loud" outreach project, providing dental services to patients from the metro Atlanta area. She is currently a member of the Hinman Dental Society, the Northwestern Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Georgia Dental Association.
Families are a priority for Dr. Ojibway - just ask her husband, daughters, or puppy! She understands the different dental needs experienced by all ages and is interested in the comfort of her patients and takes the time to talk with and help them to understand their procedures. She believes in treating every patient like a family member and has a passion for delivering the highest standard of care.
